I just stumbled uppon a great flash image gallery and you can link it to your flickr account… check it out! Change the pictures by putting your flickr id on the end of the url.
This is why I like StumbleUpon so much!
18 percent of my teachers know my name. I complete 49% of my readings of which 26% are relevant to my life. I buy hundred dollar textbooks that I never open I will read 8 books this year, 2300 webpages and 1281 facebook profiles. I will write 42 pages for class and over 500 pages of email. I get 7 hours sleep each night. I spend 1,5 hours watching tv each night. I spend 3,5 hours a day online. I listen to music 2,5 hours a day. I spend 2 hours on my cellphone, spend 3 hours in class, 2 hours eating, I work 2 hours every day, 3 hours studying. I am a multi-tasker (I have to be). I will be $20,000 in debt after graduation. I’m one of the lucky ones. Over 1 billion people makes less than $1 a day. This laptop costs more than some people in the world make in a year. When I graduate I will probably have a job that doesn’t exist today…
From left to right: Base his MacBook, The office iMac and My Precious!
I’m having some problems with upgrading my blog… so this is just a test to see if it works!
Edit: finally fixed, my google sitemaps plugin no longer works! It is giving me errors every time I make post or edit one. A simple update was enough to let it work again. Thanks to the WordPress support forums.
More then a year ago several students (including me) started the students association Generation Next. This month we welcomed member number 750. We can look back at a successful year with several great events; Next Nights about Gamevertising, Second Life and Cross Media and a unique speed date session. We also organized several guest lectures on schools in the Netherlands including Avans Breda, HvA and University of Twente. Besides our own events we also helped other organizations like “Dag van het interactief talent” and SpinAwards. Overall I think we did a good job in the first year of this organization!
A few weeks ago we started to look for some fresh faces and we (almost) completed our search. We have four new faces that are taking over our roles in Generation Next and are still looking for one more. If you are interested please let me know!
The first year was mainly focused on building the organization and this year will be all about the events. So maybe I will see you on one of the Next Nights?
