Back from Paris

An image of the Eifel Tower taken from the Seine.

I traveled with the Thalys and that’s something I could recommend everybody from Holland. It’s fast (3 hours from Rotterdam), the service is great (especially in the first class) and it is way more comfortable then an ordinary low cost airline. So if you’re planning a trip to Paris. just take the train!

In 3 hours and 9 minutes i will be in paris!

Cool Flash Image Gallery

I just stumbled uppon a great flash image gallery and you can link it to your flickr account… check it out! Change the pictures by putting your flickr id on the end of the url.

This is why I like StumbleUpon so much!

A Vision of Students Today

18 percent of my teachers know my name. I complete 49% of my readings of which 26% are relevant to my life. I buy hundred dollar textbooks that I never open I will read 8 books this year, 2300 webpages and 1281 facebook profiles. I will write 42 pages for class and over 500 pages of email. I get 7 hours sleep each night. I spend 1,5 hours watching tv each night. I spend 3,5 hours a day online. I listen to music 2,5 hours a day. I spend 2 hours on my cellphone, spend 3 hours in class, 2 hours eating, I work 2 hours every day, 3 hours studying. I am a multi-tasker (I have to be). I will be $20,000 in debt after graduation. I’m one of the lucky ones. Over 1 billion people makes less than $1 a day. This laptop costs more than some people in the world make in a year. When I graduate I will probably have a job that doesn’t exist today…
